1. What is electromagnetic compatibility test
Electromagnetic compatibility test EMC refers to the ability of a device or system to operate in compliance with the requirements in its electromagnetic environment and not produce intolerable electromagnetic interference to any device in its environment. EMC design and EMC testing are complementary. The quality of EMC design is measured by EMC testing. Only in the whole process of EMC design and development of the product, the EMC compatibility prediction and evaluation can be performed to detect possible electromagnetic interference as early as possible and take necessary suppression and protective measures to ensure the electromagnetic compatibility of the system. Otherwise, when the product is finalized or the system is built and the incompatibility is discovered, it will be necessary to spend a lot of manpower and material resources to modify the design or adopt remedial measures. However, it is often difficult to completely solve the problem, which brings a lot of trouble to the use of the system.
2. Electromagnetic compatibility test items mainly include the following seven items:
